with a jewlers tool (spell check) bettinardi can make honey comb like dimples, similar to a golf balls, on the putter face. it doesnt appear flat, but geometrically making contact with the ball, will give you a better and precise alignment.

I don’t get the dimpled putter as being engineered for a better roll on the roll. Is this just an advertisement?
