Then you’re probably coming from too far outside on your swing. Your correct swing arc should be ever so slightly to the inside. Try to take a couple swings in slow motion and see where your downswing is coming from. If it goes outside the ball and comes back your probably going to hook it.

And why do you think this happens, ok whenever my club accidentally hits the ground before it hits the ball. My drive loses about 25-50 yards, but my drives are straight like no other.
